Is VeinFusion a pharmacy?
No. VeinFusion is a coordination platform. Medication is dispensed by the prescribing specialty pharmacy; we never handle, ship, or dispense a drug.
Does VeinFusion provide medical care?
No. Care is delivered by licensed, independent clinicians. VeinFusion does not practise medicine or nursing and does not give medical advice. In an emergency, call 911.
Are nurses employees?
No. The network is independent 1099 contractors who choose which visits they accept. VeinFusion verifies their credentials before a visit is ever visible to them.
How does a nurse get matched to a visit?
Orders are published only to nurses whose licence state, competencies, and service radius already cover them. The first qualified nurse to confirm gets the visit.
Do patients pay VeinFusion?
No. Your specialty pharmacy arranges and bills for your care. Patients never receive a bill from VeinFusion.
Will my nurse have my phone number?
No. Messages and calls route through the platform in both directions, so neither of you ends up holding the other’s personal number.
When does a nurse see my name and address?
Only after they confirm your visit, and only that nurse. Before confirmation, the board shows a general area and the type of visit — nothing identifying.
Which visits need a physician signature?
It depends on the visit type and the order. Where sign-off is required, the visit enters a physician queue with the complete record attached and closes on their co-signature.
Can I get my data deleted?
You can request deletion at any time. Some records are retained where law or a pharmacy’s own retention obligations require it — the request page explains what that means.
What happens if a nurse’s licence expires mid-course?
The affected visit types drop off their board on the next read. They cannot accept work the lapsed licence covered, and the pharmacy sees the visit return to the board.
